Salon-A-Thon to Benefit Common Ground Grief Center on Sunday, June 3rd, 2012

On Sunday, June 3rd, Common Ground Grief Center will host Salon-A-Thon featuring haircuts and manicures by Salon Baraka. The event will be held from 12 – 4 p.m. at 71 Taylor Ave. (Route 71) Manasquan. The fundraiser will benefit the organization’s mission to provide ongoing support for kids and teens that have experienced the death of a parent, primary caregiver, sibling or friend.

Save the date and get a haircut for only $20. An appointment is not needed and food will also be served.

Dasti Appointed to Lacey Township Economic Development Commission

The Lacey Township governing body has appointed Christopher J. Dasti to a five year term on the Township Economic Development Commission as a representative from the legal field. The commission is currently comprised of six individuals, each representing a different service industry. In addition to adding one more resident to represent the Clearing House of Banks, the goal of this commission will be to attract businesses and enhance the tourism industry in Lacey Township.

Under Construction – The Municipal Parking Garage in Downtown Toms River

The next phase of construction to the parking garage adjacent to our building is underway. The construction will cause the top level to remain closed most likely till the end of the month. In addition to making modifications to the structure, solar panels are being added. Parking in our lot and around the downtown area has been limited and will continue to be limited until the construction is complete. If you are coming to our offices or anywhere in the downtown area, please use extreme caution when driving.

Today, the American Bar Association will host a webinar titled “Ethics Essentials for Successful Online Legal Marketing”. Diana L. Anderson, Felicetta and Petro have been named to the 2012 New Jersey Super Lawyer and Rising Stars lists

Diana L. Anderson has been named to the New Jersey Super Lawyers list, an honor awarded to no more than 5 percent of New Jersey attorneys. Louis A. Felicetta and Jonathan Z. Petro have been named to the New Jersey Rising Stars list, an honor awarded to no more than 2.5 percent of New Jersey attorneys.

Those recognized on the New Jersey Super Lawyer list as a top attorney and on the New Jersey Rising Stars list as a top up-and-coming attorney are selected using a rigorous multi‐phased process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area.

Diana L. Anderson, a partner of the Toms River Law Firm of Carluccio, Leone, Dimon Doyle & Sacks L.L.C., has been named to the 2012 New Jersey Super Lawyer list. She was first named to the New Jersey Rising Stars list in 2006 and in 2007 received recognition as a New Jersey Super Lawyer. Anderson is a Certified Elder Law Attorney focusing her practice in the areas of Elder Law, Estate Planning & Probate and Estate & Trust Litigation. Anderson is a graduate of Rutgers University School of Law, JD (1991), and Boston University, BS (1988). She was admitted to the New Jersey Bar and the U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey in 1991.  Anderson continues to serve as a court-appointed guardian and fiduciary for the incapacitated. She has litigated complex estate matters and has also served as a municipal attorney.

Louis A. Felicetta, a partner of the firm, has been named to the 2012 New Jersey Rising Stars. Felicetta was first named to the list in 2009 and again in 2010. Louis A. Felicetta practices in the areas of General Litigation, Construction Litigation and Land Use/Zoning.  Felicetta is a graduate of Widener University School of Law, JD (2000), and the University of Rhode Island, BA (1996). In 2000, he was admitted to the New Jersey Bar and to the Federal District Court of New Jersey.

 

Jonathan Z. Petro, an associate of the firm, has been named to the 2012 New Jersey Rising Stars list making this his fourth consecutive year since 2009.  Petro focuses his practice in the areas of family law and real estate.  He is a graduate of Rutgers University School of Law, JD (2004) and University of Richmond, BA (2001).  Throughout law school, Petro was a law clerk for the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office and was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 2005.  He is an active member of the Ocean County Bar Association and community organizations, including the Ocean County YMCA and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ocean County.

Stephan R. Leone, the firm’s co-founding partner, has previously been recognized in 2005 and 2006 as a New Jersey Super Lawyer. Both lists will appear in the April 2012 issue of New Jersey Monthly and New Jersey Super Lawyers magazines as well as on the website Superlawyers.com.

Ronald E. Prusek and Louis A. Felicetta – Partners of CLDDS

Carluccio, Leone, Dimon, Doyle & Sacks, L.L.C. is pleased to announce that Ronald E. Prusek and Louis A. Felicetta have become partners in the firm.

Ronald Prusek joined the firm in 2007 as “of counsel” and has concentrated his practice in the area of commercial and civil litigation, appellate practice and mediation. Prusek is a R 1:40 Qualified Mediator and Arbitrator and has been the recipient of the prestigious AV Rating from Martindale Hubbell for the past ten years. He received his A.B. from Princeton University and his J.D. from Indiana University School of Law.  Prusek was admitted to the New Jersey and U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey Bars in 1974 and the U.S. Supreme Court in 1987.  He is a member of the N.J. State Civil Trial Bar Executive Committee, a former member of N.J. District IIIA Ethics Committee and a trustee of the Ocean County Bar Association. He has also taught continuing legal education classes for the Ocean County Bar Association. Prusek is a competitive sailor and member of the U.S. Sailing Association.

Louis A. Felicetta joined the firm in 2002 focusing his legal practice in the areas of commercial litigation, municipal land use, zoning and planning, residential and commercial real estate transactions and bankruptcy. Felicetta has been named a New Jersey Rising Star for 2009, 2010 and 2012. He received his B.A. from University of Rhode Island and his J.D. from Widener University School of Law. He is also a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Ocean County Bar Association where he serves on the land use committee and bankruptcy committee. Felicetta is a native of Toms River, graduating from High School North in 1992.

Jonathan Z. Petro Esq. named Honoree 2012 YAP Awards

United Way of Ocean County has named Jonathan Z. Petro as an honoree for the 2012 YAP Awards on March 22nd. Each year the organization honors young professionals that are active volunteers in the community. Jonathan was admitted to the NJ Bar in 2005 and continues to practice in the areas of family and matrimonial law. Outside of the office, he is involved in various organizations including the Ocean County YMCA and as a Big Brother through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ocean County.  Jonathan is also a friend of the Board of the Garden State Philharmonic.
